Martial Arts Research and Studies

Martial Arts Research and Studies (M.A.R.S., all rights reserved) is a project founded and powered by Sean Wauters and Kine Bij Vechtsporten. M.A.R.S produces and publishes peer reviewed academic research papers in the broad field of Martial Arts, including Historical European Martial Arts. Topics are injury profiles, injury prevention and advises, research papers (observational, interventional, sports medicine, clinical trails, et cet.), case studies, opinion articles, review papers, but also basic and complex concepts, technicalities, techniques, and aspects. Research papers are published in an academic style. Some articles will be published in own name (M.A.R.S.), other papers can be published in other peer reviewed academic journals. All articles in own publishment are open access. Collaborating journals are selected on open access as well.
